Holmer Hemsen

Holmer Hemsen is a Senior Researcher in the Intelligent Analytics for Massive Data (IAM) research department at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and as part of Agora Health works on Applied Research topics. At DFKI he has worked in several research projects. Previously he worked as a Researcher at the Technical University of Berlin. He received his PhD from the University of Southern Denmark and a Diploma in Computer Science from Technical University of Berlin. His research interests lie in the area of Big Data Management, Distributed Stream Processing and Complex Event Processing. He is teaching at the Technical University of Berlin and mentoring Bachelor and Master students.
